Hi. I’m Ben, a freelance designer and developer.

You can contract me to build a website or for your print design needs.

I've worked for many small businesses around the UK helping to develop their branding and websites.

You can also hire me for front-end development projects.

I've also worked on web app projects as part of a large team of developers using Agile project management techniques.

Print + Web Design

I’ve been designing for many years before going freelance in 2010. I’m committed to developing a new generation of responsive websites that are affordable and use current best practices, such as responsive design. I enjoy working for small / medium sized firms and gain a lot of satisfaction from making websites, business cards etc. I can be proud of.

I hope you’ll find a range of packages to suit your needs here »

Front End Development

I’m a keen developer and am quite at home designing in the browser, although I also use Photoshop to thrash out ideas. I volunteer with a team developing a personnel management system, which is constructed in JSP. My skills are used to design forms, tables and basic structure of this web app. We use Agile methodology successfully to assign and complete tasks.

Branding

Encouraging people to invest in your product or service should be natural and easy. That’s why I take a holistic approach to branding: I look at the whole company, working with you to define your goals and help you reach them. This means thinking about who is your target audience and what is your core business. My focus is constantly on quality and integrity.

Exercise in Iterative Design

I recently decided to rise to the challenge of curating my own Instagram account. Inspired by a growing list of designers who have their own galleries and are gaining a good following, I decided that it would be a good exercise in creative thinking and would help develop and define my own style.
